 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub (American actress actor, comedian, activist) is a comedian. After immigrating to America her birthplace was in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents. Her career began as an actress in her early years as a child. She is best known for her appearances on AT&T commercials on television. In these commercials, she was Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and in 2020 (since 2020 (since). She was a regular host on Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015) and had a recurring role on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). Vayntrub, who was originally cast as the character Squirrel Girls in Marvel Rising's pilot that was never aired for New Warriors in 2018, was voiced in that role since. Vayntrub was born in Tashkent, Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic, USSR, and is Jewish. Her parents and she left antisemitism at just two years old. They immigrated to the U.S. with their children. Because of her family's financial problems and her own financial struggles, she began acting in Mattel Barbie commercials as a five-year-old. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. But, she dropped out of her sophomore year and obtained the GED. After that she went on to earn an Associate of Arts degree in Communication from University of California San Diego. She was introduced to improv comedy through the Upright Citizens Brigade.
