Drew Blythe Barrymore, born February 22, 1975, is an American actor. She is the recipient of numerous honors, including a Golden Globe and a Screen Actors Guild Award as in addition to five Emmy Award nominations and a BAFTA nomination. She is a member of the Barrymore family of actors, as well as the granddaughter of John Barrymore. Barrymore became a well-known child actress through her role in E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. She published Little Girl Lost, her autobiography about her childhood of drinking and drug abuse. She was later in a string of highly successful films throughout the 1990s, including Poison Ivy, Boys on the Side, Mad Love, Batman Forever, Scream and Ever After.
